Guys, we love you, we really do. But as wonderful as you are, every so often you do something that makes us want to jump out the nearest window (or push you out first). Please, please, don’t ever…

1. Offer to “babysit” your own kids. When your 16-year-old neighbor does it, it’s called babysitting. When a parent does it, it’s called child care, and it lasts for at least 18 years. Get it?

2. Imply that office work is harder than housework. At the end of a hard day, there may be smoke coming out of your ears, but let’s face it: You’ve basically been sitting on your butt. That same smoke is coming out of our ears too—but we’ve cleaned the house, shuttled the kids around, run errands all over town and lugged grocery bags besides. When we say we’re exhausted, we are exhausted.

3. Give a home appliance as a gift. Forgive us if we can’t work it up for this one. A new washing machine? Really? Can we get you some new snow tires?

4. Buy us the “cougar” perfume. Under our crew-neck sweaters may beat the heart of an untamed vixen—but most of us don’t want to smell like one. (Nice try, though.)

5. Brag about your driving. This is supposed to let us know that ours isn’t so great. If my husband tells me one more time that he’s been “accident-free since 1978,” I’m going to reach over, grab the wheel and make the car swerve into something, just to shut him up.

6. Be unimpressed by a meal that took a lot of time and trouble. I don’t know whose fault this is (Food Network? Julie and Julia?), but every so often we get the idea that it would be fun to make stock and spend the day basting. If the result is less than earth-shattering, say something nice anyway.

7. Buy clothes without trying them on. We know that the second you get into a department store you start to feel faint, but do us a favor and take the extra five minutes. Otherwise, you know who gets stuck with the returns?

8. Know it all, especially in public. Oh, honey. While you’re going on at length about whatever it is, we’re taking the temperature of the room, and we know everyone’s starting to fidget.

9. Say anything remotely critical about our new haircut. Sometimes getting a new cut goes well; sometimes it doesn’t. Usually we know the difference. Don’t rub it in.

10. Expect a medal for doing a little housework. Umm…it’s your house too, right? For now, we’ll give you the bronze. Maybe someday, if you work hard enough, you can pick up a gold.

Historian Nicholas Rogers, exploring the origins of Halloween, notes that while "[s]ome folklorists have detected its origins in the Roman feast of Pomona, the goddess of fruits and seeds, or in the festival of the dead called Parentalia, [it is] more typically [l]inked to the celtic festival of Samhain or Samuin (pronouncedsow-an or sow-in)",^[4] which is derived from Old Irish and means roughly "summer's end".^[4] A similar festival was held by the ancient Britons and is known asCalan Gaeaf (pronounced kalan-geyf).

The festival of Samhain celebrates the end of the "lighter half" of the year and beginning of the "darker half", and is sometimes^[5] regarded as the "Celtic New Year".^[6]

The celebration has some elements of a festival of the dead. The ancient Celts believed that the border between this world and the Otherworld became thin on Samhain, allowing spirits (both harmless and harmful) to pass through. The family's ancestors were honoured and invited home whilst harmful spirits were warded off. It is believed that the need to ward off harmful spirits led to the wearing of costumes and masks. Their purpose was to disguise oneself as a harmful spirit and thus avoid harm. In Scotland the spirits were impersonated by young men dressed in white with masked, veiled or blackened faces.^[7]^[8] Samhain was also a time to take stock of food supplies and slaughter livestock for winter stores. Bonfires played a large part in the festivities. All other fires were doused and each home lit their hearth from the bonfire. Another common practise was divination, which often involved the use of food and drink.

Origin of name

The term Halloween, originally spelled Hallowe’en, is shortened from All Hallows' Even – e'en is a shortening of even, which is a shortening of evening. This is ultimately derived from the Old English Eallra Hālgena ǣfen.^[15] It is now known as "Eve of" All Saints' Day, which is November 1st.

A time of pagan festivities,^[6] Popes Gregory III (731–741) and Gregory IV (827–844) tried to supplant it with the Christian holiday (All Saints' Day) by moving it from May 13 to November 1.

In the 800s, the Church measured the day as starting at sunset, in accordance with the Florentine calendar. Although All Saints' Day is now considered to occur one day after Halloween, the two holidays were once celebrated on the same day.

On All Hallows’ eve, many Irish and Scottish people have traditionally placed a candle on their western window sill to honor the departed. The two main colors associated with Halloween are orange and black.^[22]

Trick-or-treating and guising

Trick-or-treating is a customary celebration for children on Halloween. Children go in costume from house to house, asking for treats such as candy or sometimes money, with the question, "Trick or treat?" The word "trick" refers to a (mostly idle) threat to perform mischief on the homeowners or their property if no treat is given. In some parts of Ireland and Scotland children still go guising. In this custom the child performs some sort of show, i.e. sings a song or tells a ghost story, in order to earn their treats.

BIGresearch conducted a survey for the National Retail Federation in the United States and found that 53.3% of consumers planned to buy a costume for Halloween 2005, spending $38.11 on average (up $10 from the year before). They were also expected to spend $4.96 billion in 2006, up significantly from just $3.3 billion the previous year.^[23]

UNICEF

"Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF" has become a common sight during Halloween in North America. Started as a local event in a Philadelphia suburb in 1950 and expanded nationally in 1952, the program involves the distribution of small boxes by schools (or in modern times, corporate sponsors like Hallmark, at their licensed stores) to trick-or-treaters, in which they can solicit small-change donations from the houses they visit. It is estimated that children have collected more than $118 million (US) for UNICEF since its inception. In Canada, in 2006, UNICEF decided to discontinue their Halloween collection boxes, citing safety and administrative concerns; after consultation with schools, they instead redesigned the program.^[24]^[25]

Durin rehat.. go to Burger stall and bought Patty =) and i ran to koperasi to buy tinge. After that i go back to canteen and always go to the place near basketball court.. Near boys toilet too.. In between them where they have mango trees there. I step on them so that my friends would kena the mango.. Wahaha... Me, Jia chuen, Derek and chun yu were playing with stones and mangos. I threw a mango to jia chuen since he kick away the mango.. I quickly run and guess what? He cought up with me.. =X... Anywyz.. Life is bored. What to do.. =(

These few days i just feel so awkward. Maybe i need something. Its just that.... i cant say anything. In school i just act fine... Be happy. Nothing to worry. i tried to be quiet and do my own work... but it didnt work out today. i chit chatted and was going everywhere. So i can't do anything about it.. Puppy love is going everywhere. See the title? well... just finished dota-ing. Fu**ing noobs keep playing cheat and bugs.. I wonder when can they stop.. This guy named Puki-[xholes] something like that... He took all the leaver items which is damn imba... and when we were playing 3 lanes he start acting noob and started playing bug.. So, u should not play with those freaking noobs.

Today, well... woke up early and had milo for a drink. And went to tuition. Studied dynamics and oh damn, calculations were ok~... XD... kakaka... Today... im stressed up and my hands are all shivering bcos of the freaking guy playing cheat... Haha... well, i started to play farmville and restaurant city. XD

	Blade Fury (F) Causes a bladestorm of destructive force of 200 AoE around Yurnero, rendering him immune to magic and dealing damage to nearby enemy units and buildings.. Lasts 5 seconds. Level 1 - Deals 80 damage per second. Level 2 - Deals 100 damage per second. Level 3 - Deals 120 damage per second. Level 4 - Deals 140 damage per second. Mana Cost: 110 Cooldown: 30 Comment: This skill should be maxed out ASAP as it is your: -Creep clearing skill -Spell immunity skill -Combo initiator or ender -High damage-medium cooldown spell.
	Healing Ward (G) Summons a Healing Ward that heals units` within 400 AoE. Ward can move slowly, has 5 HP and 0 medium armor.. Lasts 25 seconds. Level 1 - Heals 1% of hit points per second. Level 2 - Heals 2% of hit points per second. Level 3 - Heals 3% of hit points per second. Level 4 - Heals 4% of hit points per second. Mana Cost: 140 Cooldown: 75 Comment: Has hp healing capabilities as good as the fountain. Imagine late game you and your team are pushing and you get into a big fight but fortunately nobody dies. You call for a slight retreat and place the ward in the fog. The whole team can just huddle around it for a few seconds and immediately get back to action. The healing potential is very very useful.
	Blade Dance (C) Yurnero`s cunning blade gives him a chance to deal double damage on each attack. Level 1 - 10% chance. Level 2 - 18% chance. Level 3 - 26% chance. Level 4 - 36% chance. Mana Cost: N/A Cooldown: N/A Comment: Simple skill but this enables Yurnero to take down most opponents in a matter of seconds. Amazingly high rate of critical works really really well with battlefury and his ultimate. Increases Yurnero’s DPS significantly.
	Omnislash (N) Unleash a number of blink strikes which deals variable physical damage between 150 - 250, slashing units in the battlefield. Yunero is invulnerable when he blink strikes. If Yunero has around 100% to 200% attack speed, he can deal additional hit (base on his own attack damage) in between every 1 to 2 blink strikes; if he has more than 200% attack speed, he can deal additional hit in between every blink strike. Special effects like Critical attack, orb effects can kick in in the additional strikes only. Level 1 - Unleash 3 blink strikes. Level 2 - Unleash 5 blink strikes. Level 3 - Unleash 8 blink strikes. Mana Cost: 200/ 275/ 350 Cooldown: 130/ 120/ 110 Comment: All there is to know about the ultimate is described by the above sentence. Now we ask ourselves what orb or attack modifiers are the best if they happen to be activated in the extra hit. This attack is great for finishing off those survivors in big team clashes and killing off heroes 1 on 1 and also 1 on 2 in the forest.

Early Game:

Start Game

So you were lucky enough to random Yurnero. So what? Well, Yurnero is one of the most powerful heroes later in the game. Once he has farmed up his items, nothing can stop him. If you picked him, good choice. Follow this strategy to learn the secrets of the Juggernaut.

Yurnero is very weak in the beggining so he will be needing a babysitter such as Purist or Rooftrellen.
The biggest problem Yurnero faces early game are the harrasers. They will target him during this stage because of his potential late game.
To counter this, we will need to out-farm and out-class them.
Buy a courier and deploy it at your base before heading off to your lane.
Choose Sentinel bottom lane or Scourge top as by creep blocking, you can get them near to your tower.
From the first creep wave, you will recieve a 1 level advantage over your opponent.
Don’t forget the important codes the moment the game starts, -di,-don
These codes will display the amount of creep kills and denies you have made.
Another code, -ma is good for checking on your opponent’s levels and what heroes they are. This can help you decide whether your item build is suitable.

Your starting items should be(assuming this is a 5 on 5 game):

Starting item build justification

The starting items are the items that you will be able to buy upon spawning at your fountain.
They are the items that will keep you alive during this stage of the game.
Animal courier is the most important of these. While enemies need to return to base to heal or to buy items, with this little devil can buy your items as well as health and mana potions for you to heal with. It would most certainly give you a level and gold advantage over your opponents as you get to stay and farm in your lane.
You only need to get one set of tangoes and two clarities as later on more can be supplied to you by your courier.The gaunlet is there for the additional hp that we will need. Building bracers will only slow down our item build which is a bad thing as we are trying to rush our items in order to survive mid-late game.
These items are not included in the main item build as they are the basic survivability items.

Skill Build Justification

Blade Fury

It is rather stupid if you do not max out blade fury as soon as possible as the damage output by blademaster is very high.
It is also your escape tool and your farming tool besides being your hero killing or weakening skill.
The damage of blade fury is as follows- at level4:

140 x 5 seconds= 700 spell damage. It is very dangerous even though the natural magic resistance all heroes have does cut a bit of the damage.

Healing Ward

A very useful spell late game to prolong big team pushes,
Can be used to heal the entire team after getting ganked.
Can move at about 100ms.
Very good to heal you when you are solo-ing Roshan or when your team is killing Roshan.
Only get it later game as you do not have the mana to support it yet.

Blade Dance

His main killing skill.
Sometimes simplicity is the best weapon.
High AS and damage only makes this skill more deadly late game.
Does not lose effectiveness as the game goes on.
Works very well with Battlefury as the critical is also cleaved.
I took it A.S.A.P after Blade Fury as the damage is strong for denying and last hitting. The creep is almost guaranteed yours whenever you last hit it.

Omnislash

Makes people yell “Wtf! I didn’t see him! Why didn’t you tell me he was missing!”
I find it works very well with S&Y because the damage is physical and maim can increase his omni slash’s power.
The less opponents are around, the better.
The skill has a certain psychological effect on opponents.
Chasers will be afraid to follow you into the jungle as they are scared you might turn back and unleash your omnislash on them, turning the tables instantly.
The search range of this skill has been decreased in later versions.
This is both good and bad
Good: When omnislashing, you don’t need to be so afraid of nearby creeps.
Bad: He can’t really omni-chase anymore as fast heroes and heroes with blinks can escape him(not much difference as lastime they could too and Kelens cant work if the user has been damaged in the past 3 seconds).
Should be taken at every opportunity possible as the damage is always around 250 per hit.
Useful at every stage of the game.

Item Build Breakdown

You may be asking why I put the item build again. Well, the strategy builder does not have a complete price breakdown so I took the effort to do it. Perhaps drew can add an item build breakdown to save other guidemakers’ time. I also find the database of items in DS inconsistent to that of Dota Allstars website. These items and prices follow DA.

Battlefury=4760

= 875 = 875

= 1400 = 1200

Battlefury is the first item you should get as it helps in farming a lot. Generally, it works with most heroes with criticals. The preseverance must be built up first before the damage items as early game you must concentrate on surviving and gaining a level advantage. The presevarance should be built together with yasha and be finished before sange.

S&Y=5100

Recipe=1000

= 600(recipe) = 600(recipe)

= 1000 = 1000

= 450 = 450

This item is very expensive but is now more worthid as it has been buffed in recent versions. Yasha should be built first as the IAS and agility bonuses benifit Yurnero much more than sange. Sange’s maim is still very little as it has not been buffed. Only once they have been combined into S&Y is maim useful.

Boots of Travel=2700

= 2200(recipe) = 500

Compliments his ganking abilities and his chasing abilities now that S&Y and Yurnero’s ms have been buffed. Also can teleport to ALL allied units on the map so you can teleport to your allie’s underlings that can be placed around the map. This would give you total control over the map. Boots of speed should be bought after completing BF but before completing S&Y. Upgrade to BoT after you have finished S&Y.

The Butterfly = 6000

= 1800(recipe)

= 3300 = 900

Incredible item to get on agility heroes. Especially DPS specialists such as yurnero. Increases damage as well as attack speed tremendously. Should be built after BoT as it greatly increases your killing potential and survivability. 30% evasion is no laughing matter as it will certainly stop perma bashers and heroes that rely on a few hits to kill like ursa.

Assault Cuirass = 6120

= 2100 = 1400

= 620 = 2000(recipe)

Late game item. You can own without this item but this can add to your killing potential. Increased AS will only make your omnislash more powerful. The additional armor will be very good against DPSers and the auras will certainly help your team late game when the ultra huge pushes begin. The - 5 armor also contributes to your omnislash as it is physical damage type.

Heart of Tarrasque = 5500

= 3200 = 1200(recipe)

= 1100

Amazing survivability when fighting in the middle of a battle. Gives you enough time to cut your opponents down to size and help your team substantially.

Hood of Defiance(situational) = 2350

= 950 = 650

= 875

Get this if more than 3 of your opponents are heavy nukers. Replace HoT with this as even the Heart cannot stop a few nuke combos.

Creep Blocking

Since you are weak in this period, you must do all in your power to help you farm.
This set of screenshots will show you the art of creep blocking which is actually a move to slow down your creeps from reaching your tower.
This will actually give you a 1 level advantage over your opponent if you did it correctly with the first wave.

The Importance of Courier

An animal courier has many uses that you can benifit from substantially for such a cheap price.
The items to get for your animal courier to bring to you besides items that form your main item build:

Bottles and clarity potions are to heal you as you do not want to return to the fountain.
The tangoes are for later use while fighting.

Strategy

* Okay, so we have our item build and skills all explained together with the techniques to block creeps.
* So what Do we do when we are in the lane against the opponent.
* Well, the most important thing to know about Yurnero is play safe .
* Farm safely in your lane and don’t go ganking or pushing like mad or making sudden assaults on your lane opponent.
* You will end up at more loss than he is.
* Last hit and deny.
* Set this in your mind. For Yurnero, LAST HIT > DENY.
* Don’t push too far into your opponent’s base.
* Once you reach level six, don’t go and try to gank yet.
* Be careful as you r opponents might try to kill your courier.
* Always play safe. Only strike back when your opponent hits you(melee).
* If an irritating range opponent can’t stop harrasing you, first, look at your game time.
* The creeps spawn every 30 seconds.
* If you are sure your enemy creeps aren’t anywhere near your ranged opponent yet, blade fury and chase him down a bit, cutting his life down and then return to your farming.
* This way, you gain advantage by forcing him to return to the fountain while your animal courier can bring potions to you.
* If the opportunity to kill comes, take it but do not be stupid and tower dive or omnislash when you are not sure if you can kill him.

End of Early Game

Conclusion:

Your goal in this stage is just to out farm and level your opponents. Do not let them harrass you.

The items you should at least have by the end of this stage:

Mid Game:

I usually consider levels 14-19 as mid game for Yurnero as he is an ultra late gamer.

Strategy

Okay, so you have reached mid game hopefully with no deaths an perhaps 1 kill or so. Good.
Now, continue farming in your lane.(I assume you took either top or bottom lane)
Because of your heavy last hitting and your criticals, it is likely that you have pushed past their first tower. Good, now is the part where you have to be very map aware.
Beware of ganks as once the opponents realize how far you have pushed, they are sure to come and get you.
Use and discuss simple map commands that are easy to type with your allies.
This can help save your team members and you from getting ganked.
Commands such as ‘mid mis, top mis, bot mis‘ are examples to convey a simple message to your team. The hero in that lane has dissapeared and is missing which could mean a few things.
First and foremost: a gank. Be careful and back down a bit.
What do you do when you are suspicious they are coming for you?
Farm neutrals in the nearby forest. Not a minute of your farming time is to be wasted. Get that in your head. Time is gold.
If you suspect they know you are neutral creeping and you see them searching, this is the time to utilise juking spots.
First, anticipate their moves. They will most likely use the ‘cut’ technique.
What is this ‘cut’ technique that I am talking about?
It is rather simple. Imagine a pincer attack. One comes for a direct lane attack while the other comes from behind you(somewhere in the jungle) and they kill you.
So, since they are sure to retreat after a certain period of searching time(nobody likes staying in a lane with no backup and unfriendly creeps hacking their backs), you can delay them by using the juking spots.

Juking Spots

So what is this ‘juking’ anyway?

It is a way for you to outmanuever your opponents or delay them from teaming up against you and killing you.

There are many important juking spots but generally there are two types.

Fog of War juking spot

This juking spots are best used when your opponents are chasing you.
They are not so useful to yurnero as nobody in their right mind will follow you into the forest without backup.
Usually these juking spots are in the middle of trees and even near roshan or in a neutral creep camp.
These places are where you can safely teleport home with your boots of travel.
There are too many of them so I have not included screenshots of the places.

2. Hiding juking spot

As far as I know, there are only two juking spots like this where you can hide out of the opponent’s range of sight.
These spots are much more reliable as they are certain to mask your whereabouts unless your opponents check the spot.
Though, it does ensure enough time for you to make a decision and either: Teleport home or place a healing ward and make a comeback.

Wards And Couriers

Wards are often the best way to control the map.
Only by using wards can you anticipate ganks and intercept them.
Wards also allow you to get a peek on your enemy team’s movement and neutral creep spawns.
Wards also help you watch the status of couriers(this part will be explained later)
Since Yurnero is such a great 1 on 1 hero, the best 1 on 1 conditions are in the jungle.
With your eyes in the jungle, you can instantly sniff prey or danger around you while neutral creeping.
Here are great ward positions for you to put your wards.
You need not put wards at ALL the locations but certainly those around the area where you are farming are most important. Remember that.

The River wards are the most important and must be updated(buy a new one and replace the old one when it dissapears) frequently.
The Roshan ward can be taken later on as only later on do people usually go for Roshan.
Notice I put the wards up at high places, I put them there as they will not be prone to melee heroes and creeps. More of a hindrance.

Tricks on Courier

Couriers are exeptionally good for setting up ganks.
What?! Couriers can set up ganks? Yes, and they can help you intercept the ganks too. Kill off the ‘cutters’ before they can get together.
Now how is that possible? Get your ally to buy some couriers or lend some of his underlings to you. In exchange, you buy the wards for the team.
Get your friend to position the couriers near your wards.
Voila! You now have eyes and TP spots in the jungle.
With your wards, you can watch over the couriers.
Make sure the couriers are hidden in the fog or your team will lose money if your opponent sees them.
If you see the opponents setting up a gank, TP to one of the couriers using boots of travel and intercept and finish off the heroes one by one. Together they are strong, Alone, they are nothing to Yurnero.
Be careful though, do not sacrifice yourself to save your friend. It is just not worth it.

Items

Now, when should we get aggressive and start intercepting ganks and killing heroes you see are alone in the jungle?
Here are the items that are needed for you to properly engage and kill the enemy heroes rather than being more of a liability and end up becoming a ‘feeder’.

OMG you say. These items are too expensive!!
Not at all once you have finished your battlefury, farming will be a breeze

Battlefury Tips

How do you farm with BattleFury?

Certainly not running like a barbarian into the middle of a creep wave and hacking around.

Battlefury can splash critical damage.
So, who to hit? Hit the Melee creeps first. The splash damage from killing them will be more than enough to kill the ranged creep.
Scenario: You have two creeps on very low red life and one that has red hp. Who to hit?

Well, in one hit, you can kill all three of the creeps. Hit the red hp creep and the splash damage will hit the other two and instantly kill them.

Remember, the splash damage is 35% of the normal attack.
I see many people making this mistake and wasting two hits on kills that can be made with ONE hit.
This wastes time.
It might seem little but when it accumulates, it can make a big difference.
Battlefury also changes Yurnero’s attack animation to the critical slice animation where Yurnero jumps up and slices the opponent vertically.
It makes opponents have the image of you getting criticals every hit. They will think twice before coming to get you as the phsychological effect is quite good but not as good as tidehunter’s Anchor Swing.

End of Mid Game

Now you have finished the important and tedious part of the game. You are almost ready to run around casually and kill off opponents like flies.

Your items should at least look something like this:

Late Game:

Late game is lvls 20-25.

Strategy

Yay Huzzah! Late Game!!
*Cough**Cough* On to the strategy now.
Late game is the time when you practically CONTROL the entire game.
Not much strategy during late game but there are certain points that I would like to point out.
YOU ARE NOT THE BATTLE INITIATOR.
Don’t act like a hero and jump in the middle of a stampede of creeps and heroes. You will only end up being sent back to the fountain and getting laughed at.
Let battle initiators like Raigor blast away everything first. Once the teams are converged in battle, make your entry and start killing.
It is realitively easy to get a doublekill and even a triple kill with Yurnero.
Finish off the fleeing heroes with an Omnislash.
Do not get greedy.

Yurnero’s roles late game

Crush those pesky backdoorers.
Add icing to the battles and end team clashes with a superb finish that will get your team respected.
Defend and decimate entire mobs and stampedes of creeps in mere seconds.
Though, it is very unwise to handle them without some of your creeps to take the hit for you.
Clear the jungles of heroes that stray too far.
Kill Roshan.

Killing Roshan

Very easy with Yurnero and can be done solo.
Start hitting Roshan and then wait for him to throw his stunning rock.
Hit him a while and place your healing ward behind you.
Continue hitting him without using blade fury or any skills.
He should be dead before your ward can even disappear.
You can replace your heart with Aegis but it is recommended you stick to the item build and give the Aegis to another ally.

Hunting

Hunting for heroes is what Yurnero does best.
Just move around the map using your teleportation couriers and empty the opponent’s neutral creep camps.
Because your team is pushing so hard, the opponents won’t have a place left to farm so most likely you will bump into one or two of them farming the neutrals.
DO NOT start with omnislash just because you have the chance.
Here are the combos that you could try out.

Bladefury tips

Effects from your attack still happen on enemies when you click on them.
This is only used when you are fighting 1 on 1 in the jungle as clicking on the enemy hero when there are his creeps around will surely attract them to you.
When in lane, always click beside the opponent.
Bladefury is good for surprising the enemy when you come from the side, or from the fog.
You just need proper positioning.
The psychological effect of bladefury is astounding. When anyone sees a Yurnero blade-furying they usually tend to run.
This can be used to your advantage.
Check the timer. if the creeps haven’t spawned from his base anytime soon, this tactic is very useful.
Spin near him and make it seen.
If he stays to fight, you spin off all his creeps.
Then omnislash to finish.
If he runs, this is why bladefury can be used to an advantage, it can make others run.
When they run, just chase, even though you are not damaging him.
Usually they would run back to base. This puts a gap between them and their creeps.
Allowing you to—-OMNISLASH and kill.

____________________________________________________________________________________

If something goes horribly wrong(very unlikely), you can escape by using bladefury.
Bladefury gives you magic immunity and gives you a 5 second space for you to run before the enemy throws stunning or slowing spells or killing nukes at you.

This happened quite early game for me but this screenshot is merely to show you the uses of Blade Fury to escape.

Creep Wave Timing.

Creep wave timing is an essential skill that is always good to be learnt by Yurnero players.
It is the art of estimating the time the next creep wave comes and is useful to time your Omnislash.
You could end up wasting your ultimate just because the fog of war blocked you from seeing the creep wave coming up.

Here is a table I made to estimate the creep waves.
Take note that they spawn every 30 seconds.

Those are for the Sentinel.
For the scourge, the third tower values for top and bottom are switched.
The time in between is self-estimated.

Team Pushes

Late game is when both teams are pushing themselves to the limit.
The towers will fall and blood will flow.
You can act as the team’s fountain because of your healing ward.
Simply retreat for a few seconds into the forest and huddle around the healing ward.
Make a comeback faster than the opponents can say ‘OMG’
You can support your team perfectly with your Assault Cuirass’ IAS and def aura.
You will actually be having such a fun time that you will not even want the game to be over.

Estimated Item Build

When the game ends. This is the best item build that this guide suggest.

Not that good because aegis does not give hp bonuses that will let you last longer in the battle.

END GAME

Finally, once you have pushed hard enough, you destroy the Frozen Throne/World Tree.
Yay, you win….and this concludes my strategy guide.

Conclusion:

Best Allies

Powerful stunners, slowers and disablers to hold the enemies still while yurnero hacks away at them, easily earning you a double or triple kill.

Good babysitters needed early game. Rooftrellen’s overgrowth is also amazingly good with Yurnero.

Worst Enemies

Badass nukers and disablers. Also those who can pull off mad godly damage combos.

Items not to get

This will overide your critical..terrible compared to Blade Dance.

WTF! You don’t have enough mana to support this, no matter how appealing double omnislash might seem.
Any intelligence items like guinsoo and ahganims…

ITEMS TO CONSIDER

You don’t need this because you are using your courier to bring your heals. It isn’t too bad though, I guess it can be taken mid game- late game when you are ganking. CAN BE REFILLED BY CARRYING RUNES AND THEN CONSUMING THE RUNES.

Gives immolation which is kind of redundant since you have a battlefury. By all means, get it if you prefer immolation over the damage from battlefury.

Great item for Yurnero as it gives lifesteal, letting you go neutral creeping more often. Can replace SnY with it but then Yurnero will lack AS, a slow and sufficient MS to chase properly.

Well Had Exams for 1 week though. I started 2 weeks earlier and i didnt get to use the comp. Finally, I get to update the blog back. So exams? Well, Hard Like hell. You see, My english essay, not sure what to write about. Oh shit. Science Well, 1 Mistake at subjective. And others at objective. 93%/100%. Aiyar. So low lar. Got People Get 100% for Science. Arini. Ah WTH. Crap! Secondly, here comes Sejarah. Sejarah got a B. Well BAD B. So i decided to start studying during the holidays. If I can resist it without using computer. =) KH, Well Dang it. Ok ok lah. So is Geography, Hard. Maths Too! Bm Well... Ok ok lah. Up to teacher to mark it. Dang. Well Last Wednesday which was 4th of March, My Cat was sent to the Vet For 1 Week. She was infected (not those crictical type larhz) With FUNGUS. Poor Patches was so sad. After A few days we went to visit her. She was so happy and kept on rubbing her body at the door of the cage. But actually she thought we are taking her home. On this wednesday, which was 11th of March. I took her home. She was kinda more manja.

Argh. Not in a mood. My shoulders and my stomach hurts due to pumping. Pumping you ask? Well, my palm hurts too. I think its an internal bleeding =). I needed to pump 20, 40, 20, 20, then 10. Why? Because we scouts had done mistakes in marching. So, Pumping is here to teach you a lesson? No, because we never do it properly, so our seniors want us to do it perfectly! =(

Today, woke up. As usual played my NDS. But WTF? When i went to coffee bean to play about like 20 minutes, the battery is low! Shit. The battery must have died out. Ahh but yesterday was fine! So i charged it today, now. I charged it last night though. 8 hours. Shud last almost 6 hours. Got new games like Guitar Rock Tour. Damn Nice. -) So now i am bored because yesterday i had company. Kugan funeral: Crowd gets emotional (Update 7)

SUBANG JAYA: The funeral procession of A. Kugan, whose death in police custody has galvanised civil society, became emotional during prayers at the police station where he died.

The procession from the Universiti Malaya Medical Centre (UMMC) mortuary in Petaling Jaya reached the Taipan police station here at about 2:50pm Wednesday.

After short prayers, some people in the crowd brought out banners and posters, against earlier directives of the authorities, and began shouting accusations at the police.

Deputy Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Ismail Omar on Monday said police would not allow any carrying of banners or posters during Kugan’s funeral.

He said the funeral should not be politicised or turned into a racial event.

He warned groups who were not involved to stay out of the funeral procession.

“The body should be brought straight from the mortuary to the crematorium in Puchong,” he said.

Ismail said that if Kugan’s body was taken elsewhere, it would be considered an illegal gathering and the police would take action.

However, when faced with the angry crowd on Wednesday, the police kept calm and continued directing traffic.

The procession finally left a little after 3:00pm to proceed to the crematorium at Puchong, where the suspected car thief will finally be laid to rest, leaving in his wake disturbing questions about police abuse.

Five men were arrested earlier at UMMC. First, police detained two men who tried to get through a barricade at the mortuary despite orders to disperse.

Two more were detained at about 1:40pm by plainclothes policemen for allegedly trying to incite the crowd.

The four were wearing t-shirts depicting the outlawed Hindu Rights Action Force movement, or Hindraf. The fifth is believed to be former Hindraf coordinator R.S. Thanendran.

The first arrests, made at the UMCC entrance about 12.15pm, came after Brickfields OCPD Asst Comm Wan Abdul Bari Wan Abdul Khalid had made an announcement asking the crowd disperse.

He gave the crowd up till a count to 10 to disperse, failing which he said arrests would be made. He then ordered his men to arrests the two.

They have been taken to the Brickfields police headquarters for questioning, ACP Wan Abdul Bari said.

At about 1:25pm, FRU officers came to the front of the mortuary and forced press photographers away from the scene.

Earlier at 12:45pm, Puchong MP Gobind Singh Deo, Kapar MP S. Manikavasagam, Teluk Intan MP M. Manogaran, Penang Deputy Chief Minister (II) Dr P. Ramasamy and the family’s lawyer N. Surendran arrived but were denied entry into the mortuary by a UMMC security officer.

A heated exchange ensued before they were allowed in, together with Kugan’s parents and two other relatives.

Relatives and friends were then allowed entry into the mortuary where Kugan’s body is being kept, but only in batches of five.

At a hastily-convened press conference at the scene, Manikavasagam denied online rumours that the funeral procession was going to proceed to the Kuala Lumpur City Centre to hold a demonstration.

Instead, he clarified, the procession would first proceed to Subang Jaya where a five-minute prayer would be held at the Taipan police station in which Kugan was killed, before proceeding to Puchong for the funeral rites.

Meanwhile, Gobind said they were not there to cause trouble and blamed the police for blowing things out of proportion.

“We’re just here to show our support,” he said. “We’re just here to claim the body and allow Kugan’s funeral to proceed.”

Gobind also said that the second post-mortem report has been completed but the doctor who conducted it had yet to reveal anything.

Later, Seputeh MP Teresa Kok arrived as well.

Members of the Field Reserve Unit (FRU) and the Light Strike Force were deployed early Wednesday to Jalan Universiti to prepare for the funeral procession.

The suspected car thief had died while being questioned by police on Jan 20.

The units were placed there in anticipation of a large crowd for the procession that will begin at UMMC and proceed to Puchong, Petaling Jaya police chief Asst Comm Arjunaidi Mohamed said earlier.

Members of the public should not join in any illegal gathering and police will take stern action, he added.

Kugan’s family had arrived at the scene a little after 12 noon.

His uncle, Ravi Roy, 42, had earlier told the media said that the family was not blaming the police force for Kugan’s death, but was merely seeking the truth.

“We are not blaming the entire police force, all we want is for the people who are responsible to be brought to justice,” he said at the Bandar Kinrara home here of Kugan’s parents on Monday.

UMMC conducted the second post-mortem on kugan last Sunday.

The 22-year-old collapsed and died inside the Taipan police station in Subang Jaya on Tuesday last week. The initial post-mortem revealed that he had died due to fluid in his lungs, but Kugan’s family entered the Serdang Hospital mortuary that same day and took photographs of his body, which showed severe bruising.

They demanded a second post-mortem, although that report is not out yet.

While initially saying no foul play was involved, police have now reclassified the case as murder for the purpose of investigation, at the urging of the Attorney-General.

Today, on the 10th. Mesyuarat Agong Starts at 7.40. I reached late, About 7.45 At the Dataran. And there is an old hag calling us to walk faster and faster. Stupid Teacher. So i searched for my class. Ahuh!! I see John Paul Felix. Standing there talking. And next i saw Wern Han. Ok, so i line up behind Wern Han and said hi to my friends, Mughiyl, Wern Han and a few others. Teachers calling us to line up straight. After that, I went Laluan Bestari to line up for Red House, Hulubalang. Ok, thats alot of people. Ahh, what to do. No friends also there, just sit down and act like a doll lah.
At about 8.45 we set off to our unit beruniform. Me? Scout Of course. This year so suprisingly, So many form 1 joined Scouts. Ok They will feel how to b 1 of the scout. Finally we can see juniors pump. HAHAHA!!! Rehat time!! What did i eat? Nothing. Drink?! NOTHING! Ok NO WONDER UR SKINNY. Well you can say that. But why not try saying, Why?! Ok I HAVE NO MONEY. Never LEnd Money? I HAD LEND ENOUGH. NO MORE!! Ok so i set off to dataran again and went to Makmal biology 1 for Maths And Science. After that, when we came down, the leo club was selling Pizzas For Charity!! RM 2 For 1 PIECE!! Nooo... I HAVE NO MONEY.!!!! Agh just starve and let those fools eat their pizza's. After basketball meeting, I went out and lent Wei Szen's Phone to call mum.

Ok Wait till about 11.50 and Went to USJ 17 To Eat. Eat what? Chicken rice ( Kai Hong Siew Kai) Drank 100 plus. And went home to play computer of course. And so on, sit in the house for hours because dad took the Altezza to paint. After about 7.00, Dad came back and we went out for Dinner in Ah Pek Kopitiam In USJ 16. We packed up their stuffs and put in to the lorry. My mum get ready food for the way to our new home. After that, at 9.30a.m we went off to our new house and did a big sign board that says, FOR SALE, and wrote our contact number there. New York City? Cool. What a cool city. We reached our destination safely. What a big house! New and Cool. The whole house is air-conditioned and Dad's company is going to pay for electric bills. Cool, I'll be sure to be the 1st one to use the electricity for 23.99999 hours per day =). So i got down to my own room and settle down for awhile. Oh yeah!! I forget about my pet dog. Pootches!

Hey guys, the PSP phone is coming out!! I want one~~!!!

Nowadays everything seems to be converging into a mobile phone. It already can be a perfectly good digital camera (e.g. SE K850i Cybershot), a mobile TV station a music player or GPS receiver. One of the things missing here was a mobile gaming platform. But it’s coming too.

And who’s better positioned to create a perfect mobile gaming platform then Sony? It already has one - Sony PSP. It also makes some great mobile phones via joint venture with Swedish Ericsson.

Their recent patent filing shows how Sony Ericsson will go about integrating these two gadgets:

The main question Sony Ericsson asked when designing PSP phone was - what is the main problem with using your phone for mobile games?

And the answer was - gaming controls.The numeric keypad is just not good enough to control the action in games. But who says all the keys on the numeric keypad have to be identical?

Sony has already designed very good game controls on PSP. So now they just made a few keys on numeric keypad into a game controls and the problem was solved.

The other problem was that most of the good games are played holding PSP console with both hands and using two thumbs to control game characters. And the phone is operated usually with a single hand and thumb.

Rotating screen came to the rescue here. When the device is in a phone mode, all you have is a simple mobile phone with numeric keypad , menu and function keys. Turn the screen around 180 degrees, your menu/functional keys are transformed into game controls and you have a perfectly good portable gaming device.

Oh and why not use the screen turned 90 degrees to make this device into a mobile TV station as well?

The beauty of it all is that Sony will not have to worry about the games for the PSP phone. Just make it compatible with the standard PSP games and Nokia will have a really tough time catching up with it’s next gen N-Gage platform.

18th of December. What a normal day~~ Today went to Penang from KL. What time i left? 10.00A.M. Where did i left? Coffee Bean, Straight to ELITE highway. Well we went halfway and then stopped at a shell station. What did I do there? Pump Petrol and dad change driver. Sister drive and she did not really use the breaks well. Oh well, just a small heart attack. After we reach, we went to check in at Gurney Hotel. Damn it, need to wait 40 minutes. Oh well, alright no problem since we haven't had lunch yet. So we went to the nasi kandar down stairs and ate. Ok ok loh.

Went into the hotel about 4 - 4.30. I straight away went in to the jacuzzi. Ahh.. Warm water. And found that there were free internet access in the room. Oh what a great day. =). Went online to chat, play dota and Project Torque. After that, had to went out. Ate about 3 stuffs? Have the pictures here but no cable to link it. So wait till i go home yeah? =P. We went to walk in Gurney Shopping mall. Went to Popular and guess what?! They have the Darren Shan No. 7!! Some more cheaper then the book in Borders. Ah.. Rm 50 in borders and RM 30 in Popular. So much difference. What is darren shan? Well, darren shan is about demonata.

Explanation

DEATH SHADOW

Death's Shadow, the 7th book of The Demonata, is set several months after the events of Demon Apocalypse. The narrator is Bec, newly returned from the dead. Life isn't easy for a teenage girl in the 21st century, but it's especially difficult for a girl who was born more than fifteen hundred years earlier!! Her struggles to adapt to the modern-day world aren't helped by her guardian, Dervish. In mourning, more alone and confused than he's ever been since Grubbs came to live with him, Dervish sees Bec as a link to the nephew he lost, and treats her with contempt and disdain. Bec finally makes up her mind to challenge him, but just when it seems like they might be about to make peace, their world is thrown into chaos and they must fight desperately to stay alive.

A new menace has arisen in the universe of the Demonata. Mankind faces its greatest ever threat, and this time it looks like even the power of Beranabus and the Disciples might not be enough to drive back the demon hordes. The clock is ticking, and each member of the Kah-Gash (Bec, Grubbs and Kernel) must set off on a quest to uncover answers and solve deadly mysteries, before it's too late. But will those answers help them, or will they just confirm what Lord Loss already believes -- that mankind is finished?!?

NOTES

Death's Shadow was the first book of the series that I had written in its correct sequence since Lord Loss!!! As I've explained in my other plot notes, each of the following five books was written out of the order in which they were published, e.g. Demon Thief was actually the 6th book I wrote, even though it was published second. This was a series that came together in a chaotic, roundabout fashion, and it was only at this point that I actually got everything straight in my head and realised what the overall direction of The Demonata was. Having finally drawn all the various characters and story-lines together, I was now free to move forward in a more linear fashion, and from Book 7 onwards, each book was written in sequence -- no more frantic jumping about for me!!!

In a weird way, Death's Shadow is when the main story of the series actually kicks in for real. Although the story has been building since Book 1, and each book has offered glimpses of that story (as you'll see if you go back and re-read them after you've read Book 7), it's only now that everything comes clearly into focus. There is a threat to the world, greater than any we've faced before. In fact, as we'll see in later books, it's not just our world that is threatened, but the entire universe. The war between humanity and the Demonata is drawing to a close. One way or another, there WILL be a victor, and soon. Lord Loss thinks that the demons, with the aid of their new ally, are going to win, so he sides against humanity. Beranabus and his Disciples want to believe that they can win this final battle, but the odds are stacked against them. Their only hope lies in finding out who or what the mysterious Shadow is (the creature glimpsed briefly near the end of Book 6), and then trying to find a way to fight it.

I wasn't sure of the exact structure of the series when I was working on the first 6 books. Grubbs was clearly the main narrator of the first half of the series, but would he remain the focal character in the second half? How would I fit the stories of Bec and Kernel in around those of Grubbs, without making the other two-thirds of the Kah-Gash seem like secondary characters? I finally settled on the structure - the order in which the narrators would appear - when I wrote Demon Thief. With the appearance of Bec as the narrator in Book 7, the smarter fans among you should now have enough evidence to guess at the structure and work out who will be narrating each of the last three books of the series. If you're still uncertain, have another look at the structure of Book 4, Bec -- and bear in mind that in this series, as in that book, I'm very interested in exploring ideas of cycles and symmetry ...

One of the problems that symmetrical structure posed was how did I go about fitting in Beranabus' back story? I'd thought hard about the mysterious magician, and pieced together much of his past. He had a fascinating story to tell, and ideally I would have liked to give him an entire book of his own, tracing his growth from infant to adult, over a period of thousands of years. But there was no way of comfortably squeezing that into the 10 book series that I had come to envisage -- and, as you'll see when you work out what the structure is, there HAD to be 10 books, no more, no less. I thought about leaving his past a mystery and one day writing a one-off book, or even a mini-series about him. But I was reluctant to do that, since I felt fans needed to know more about him during the course of the series, where he came from, why he fought so hard, how much he had put into protecting the world, how strongly mankind unknowingly had depended upon him over the centuries. Fortunately the character of Bec provided me with the answer, and I was able to include a few chapters about Beranabus in this book, giving us some tantalising insights into his life, the way he was born, how he came to be mankind's champion, how he evolved from the simple boy we saw in Book 4 to the masterful magician we'd met in the modern-day books. It's a slight cheat on my part -- it breaks up the present-tense narrative that has been a feature of the other books -- but there was no other way to fit it in, and I felt VERY strongly that it needed to be included. So, in essense, you're getting two books for the price of one in Death's Shadow -- wahoo!!!!!

I started Death's Shadow in May 2005, 3 years before it was published. Having worked up a hefty set of notes, I began writing the first draft of May 23rd, and finished it on June 10th -- I worked quickly on it, because I was so excited about it!!! But the first draft didn't include the sections about Beranabus' past -- I wrote those on June 10th, 11th and 12th. The book has a three act structure, end each act revolves around an attack by different creatures in different locations. I imagined it almost as a three act play, in which each act needed to take place on a specially designed set. Act 1 -- Dervish's home. Act 2 -- a hospital. Act 3 -- a ship. So that's the basic set-up -- but you'll have to read the book to find out what manner of monsters attack in each scene!!!

The book was originally called S.S. Demonic, since it climaxes on a ship. I quite like that title, but I was nervous about using the word "demon" too often (especially as book 6 was called Demon Apocalypse). When my editor said she hated S.S. Demonic, my course was clear, and I set about searching for a new title. It took quite a long time, and lots of bouncing about of ideas between myself and my editor, but finally we settled on Death's Shadow. I really like it, especially as it one of those (such as Sons Of Destiny) with a double meaning that only becomes clear right at the very end of the book ...

I used some names of people I know in this book. There's a character called Kealan, after one of my cousins. (He's from a family of five, and the others -- Meara, Ronan, Lorcan and Tiernan -- have all made appearances in earlier books. I was saving him for a special occasion!!!) Another character, mentioned briefly, is Zahava Lever, named after the daughter of an independent book store which I've visited several times over the years. And some of the characters are named after fans in Hungary! I visited Hungary on tour shortly before starting work on D7, and because the people's names were very difficult for me to spell, they had to write them down on sheets of paper. I kept those sheets and took the liberty of extracting a few names to use in the book!!!

One piece of advice before I wrap this up -- I'd suggest you take a good deep breath before you begin Death's Shadow -- it's fairly frenetic, and I don't think you're going to put the book down too often while you're reading it!!! Also, it's worth bearing in mind that while I won't be jumping back and forth in time in the last four books of the series, there IS a temporal overlap to deal with in books 7, 8 and 9. Don't worry -- it's not as complicated as it sounds!! Basically there are certain scenes which appear in each of those three books, but seen from a different point of view. So, when you come to read book 8, if you get a sense of deja vu, don't worry, you're not going crazy!!!!!

Cat is currently now in MyPet shop. Miss her though. But oh well, after the Christmas she will be free. Not really though, because she have to stay in the cage for 2 whole weeks. How big is the cage? Well kinda small though. Lucky i got it for about RM50++.

I got a bigger carrier for her. Actually its pretty small and she cant even stand. She can only lay down. That is it. I remembered when we tried to catch her to bring her to the vet. Ohh... it was the 1st time mann... When she was in the carrier (Small 1) she meowed so loud so hard, and struggle to come out from it. Ahh.. But today she is quite tamed though. She just stay in the carrier and meow sometimes. Most of the time it is loud. The boarding cost RM15 per night. Expensive huh?. Yeah... Now we have the big carrier. So, No need to worry.

Christmas is coming. Anyone has plans to go for a vacation? Well I'm going to Penang tomorrow so I can't go online anymore. Everyday is eat, buy clothes, swim, listen to song, stay in hotel, and go for walk and movies. After that, here goes Christmas.. Singapore~~ I will get to play Nintendo Wii and PS3 there. And the most exciting part is, we play with a big screen tv and they have a dog. Weeee~~ I got a bag for school nextyear. Its kinda like a backpack and a bag. It is a multi use. It looks like this. We also did some shopping in The Garden at Mid Valley for presents. This presents arent for me. Its for my cousins. This is because we are celebrating together and the adults and children have to buy something for everyone. Well, Sounds fun isn't it? Hehe. I just cant wait to go to Penang tomorrow. The bad thing is, We are sitting in a myvi and not the Toyota Altezza. You must b questioning, What the hell is a Toyota Altezza? Well it is this car. All the pictures are at below. Helloooo everyone!.. Today i went to scouts to get information about d Usaha Camp. We have to build 10 gadgets at our campfire. This will last till morning i think.. from 8.00pm bah.. After that, i went back home and had to touch the laptop. I can't resist it!. At abt 7.00p.m. we went to Uno's (Supposed to b Pizza Uno[Italian food] But now change to UNO) which is located at Taipan Near HSBC and i ate Lamb Shank =P. I took some of the pictures on the way. We went there to eat for a special occasion which is My mum's birthday. After tat, we went to the specs shop(dad wanna buy new specs in the end gt 1). Took about 1hr 30min to choose the frame and eye adjustments laa.. We went to baskin robin to see if there are any cakes which we like(never buy any in the end). So we walk all the way to Berry's and bought Black Forest Cake. Don't have the picture sorry!!!.. =.=

Aloha!.. :D Today life was normal. Bt abit quiet =(. I saw a Myvi today while driving back home and d front looks very garang.. Woot. Note- Not loving Myvi!!. The seats behind makes my back ache!. :( Nywayz, i went to 1 Utama and ate Fried chicken for Breakfast. I KNOW I KNOW NOT HEALTHY, but i love it. =P After that we went to jusco to buy food, like raw patatoes, vege n much more la! We went to the other side and bought some sushi :D. I know it doesn't taste real nice as sushi king, but WTH. In d end it didnt really comes out good =(.
